全球食虫植物专著推荐
今天在Timber Press的主页上看到的好消息阿，书名翻译作《食虫植物的神奇世界》，书本介绍了食虫植物的生物学特性以及栽培情况，是一本非常专业的书籍，但是又适合科普阅读，发现国外的书籍的质量没有话讲。封面的图是眼镜蛇瓶子草，原产澳大利亚。售价40美元，折合人民币300多，贵阿。。。
作者威尔海姆·巴斯洛特非常有名，是波恩大学生物多样性研究室的首席科学家，同时是波恩大学的植物园的院长，该处是世界上收集食虫植物种类最丰富的植物园之一。
这种书籍，是我最喜欢的，得要想办法搞一套来看看。。。

Wilhelm Barthlott
Wilhelm Barthlott Ph.D. is director of the botanical gardens and head of the Nees Institute of Plant Biodiversity at the University of Bonn. He has studied carnivorous plants for three decades and at the botanical gardens of the University of Bonn has developed one of the world's largest carnivorous plant collections. Dr. Barthlott's research includes global mapping of biodiversity based on vascular plant patterns, systematics and ecology of flowering plants; investigation of biological boundary layers and the self-cleaning properties of certain biological surfaces; and in cooperation with industry, development of biomimetic self-cleaning surface technologies.
